Dedication: Choco Jungle Project
The people of the Choco Jungle Project are archiving music from Colombia and surrounding area’s to prevent it from dying out. The project started around 10 funeral singers in El Valle, Choco.
Despite the beautiful content of the music, the youth rather listen to reggaeton and pop music, therefor the risk of losing these beautiful traditional songs are high.
Due to this project the singers will release an album on Osunlade’s record label ‘Yoruba’. A real cool project that deserved our attention.
