Dedication: Muhammad Yunus
As we are hugely inspired by the social economic changes made by Nobel peace prize winner Muhammad Yunus with his business model called Social Business and the concept of ‘Micro-loans’ and ‘Microfinance’ with Grameen Foundation, we wanted to let our ‘scene’ know who this guy is!
Muhammad Yunus constructed business models, concepts and social businesses to start up a business where social prosperity is considered as the only profit and free of dividends. He teamed up with companies like Adidas and Danone to create shoes and vitamin-loaded yoghurts for the people in Bangladesh to reduce illness and deaths.
As always we have a guest on the show and this time we are honoured to work with amazing Japanese/Melbourne producer ‘mfp’!

Dedication: R.O.L.E. Foundation
We from Beats for Change teamed up with the Los Bangeles crew to dedicate our first fundraising event for the sake of environmental issues in Bali, Indonesia.
With the use of the old traditional Balinese story about the battle between Barong and Rangda (Good and Bad) we printed 4 exclusive giclée prints. During our event at the LEYP store we held a lottery where everybody could buy €5 a ticket to win one of these prints!
This event was a major succes. We had DJ’s, performances, traditional indonesian food and got sponsored by the good people of Bavaria.
We now can send R.O.L.E. Foundation 395€! So that will be 535$ (6.315.970rp!) to help out environmental programs and spread awareness to the locals about keeping their little paradise clean for future generations.
See event pictures here.
